3rd - Players take turns setting down cards in any open spaces. The mat's upper end is labeled North, when setting down card's the North side of the card must face the North direction on the play mat (Unless a card says otherwise). When setting down a card the player will place down a token indicating that they control that card.  When a player puts down a card next to a card they don’t control the played card is attacking the opposing card.  If the played card’s value is more than opposing card the attacker takes the opposing card indicated by removing the card’s token and placing one of the attacker’s on it, the card has been taken.

4th - Players take turns setting down cards until all players have run out of cards in there hands or until there are no open places left on the board to play cards.
